Blue Star service banner in red velvet on a wooden dowel with hanging cord and tassels, accompanied by silver-tone captain rank bars, four red embroidered cloth patches with white lightning bolts, gold-tone crossed-cannon artillery collar insignia pins with numeral "306", a black metal "U.S." collar insignia pin, a curved silver-tone buckle, eight brass clutch fasteners mounted to a 1949 Curt Teich postcard, and a 1951 staple-bound United States Military Academy booklet titled "Notes for the Course in the History of Military Art".
